Amber Hall

Named after the nearby River Amber, the hall enjoys spectacular views over the playing fields and surrounding countryside, making it a perfect venue for wedding receptions, concerts, conferences and parties.

The modern, spacious room has a 6-metre high vaulted ceiling, which gives a light and airy feel.

Double doors lead on to an outdoor patio area which over-looks the local playing fields. The patio can be used for an outdoor seating area, a hog roast and/or a gazebo.

Although the room's maximum seated capacity is 170 people, it is licensed for 190 people to enjoy semi-standing events such as an wedding evening reception.

Extra facilities

The Amber Hall boasts a complete audio-visual and lighting facilities. Using some of the latest technology, it includes a super-bright projector, a 3m wide screen and professional stage lighting equipment - which is perfect for concerts and theatrical performances.

The room has a fully-integrated sound system which, along with the projector and lighting, can be operated from the stage or from the dedicated sound and lighting booth which overlooks the room. Various microphone options, such as wireless handheld or tie clip are available on request.

The system is perfect for presentations, training courses, musical performances, photographic image shows and digital backgrounds. Laptops and ipads can be connected straight into the audio system. A 3 phase power supply is available to hirers, as is the hearing induction loop system.

The hall stage has rear double-door access, two adjacent changing rooms and full stage blackout curtains making it an ideal platform for theatrical companies to showcase their talents.

Decorating the room

To make the hall look that little bit more special, a beautiful marquee lining, supplied by J & CA Fisher Marquee Hire, can be fitted to create a stunning setting for events such as a wedding reception or a special birthday.
