The hall was just right. Easy to access and decorate, the team were flexible to our needs, had a lot of furniture, plus crockery we could rent. They were really punctual with replies and communication while we got everything prepared.
It was really helpful to have a venue that was as easy to work with when planning a stressful event like a wedding, so thanks!

The space is really flexible, a bar and kitchen can be hired, and it's got an amazing outdoor space. You can also rent tables, chairs, and crockery and cutlery at a really reasonable price! We held our wedding reception here because we loved the ability to create our own vision and not be limited to certain suppliers (we also got some great recommendations from the team at the hall!). Joanne was so helpful and accommodating from our first viewing to the day of the wedding and after. We can't recommend Ashover enough! x

We choose it because we could camp in the next field, do it up ourselves and have our own caterers, meaning we could invite more people and have a bit of a festival atmosphere. It was hard work putting it together ourselves but this was made easier by the helpful team of locals who look after the Parish Hall who I believe are mostly volunteers. They ran a bar for us and organised real ale from The Poets Corner. They helped us set up music. They put tables out for us. They were around the day we set up. They put us in touch with a local farmer re a field. They were a lovely bunch and easy going. They helped make our day special. I would recommend you have your wedding reception or party at Ashover Parish Hall.
