January 2015
”Thank you to the whole team at Ashover Parish Hall for making our winter wedding so special. You were so easy to work with, extremely helpful and we definitely would not have been able to do it without you. The amount of space was perfect for our 135 guests with the additional rooms and marquee (from Fishers) allowing our guests to spread out during the drinks reception and after the meal. Thank you so much again and all the best for your many events in 2015!”
June 2015
”We had our wedding reception here 29 June 2015. We choose it because we could camp in the next field, do it up ourselves and have our own caterers, meaning we could invite more people and have a bit of a festival atmosphere. It was hard work putting it together ourselves but this was made easier by the helpful team of locals who look after the Parish Hall who I believe are mostly volunteers. They ran a bar for us and organised real ale from The Poets Corner. They helped us set up music. They put tables out for us. They were around the day we set up. They put us in touch with a local farmer re a field. They were a lovely bunch and easy going. They helped make our day special. I would recommend you have your wedding reception or party at Ashover Parish Hall.”

”We had a brilliant experience with you all, you were all very welcoming and so helpful with all our specific needs. You were so good at responding to everything very speedily via phone or email, and Steve was brilliant at being available for us to go through the technical side of it all when setting up. We were so pleased at how organised everyone was, it made the planning and the day itself run so smoothly, we didn’t need to worry about anything as we knew you were doing a great job taking care of every thing for us. The facilities were excellent, plenty of room with the brilliant field at the back to enjoy in the sunshine, as well as a fab stage and sound equipment which the band really appreciated! The bar in the evening was brilliant, lovely volunteers and great selection of drinks at good prices! We would really recommend anyone to choose Ashover hall for their wedding reception.”
